nah nah nanna boo boo...!!!!

Shift = Lunch
Weather = 77 degrees and sunnayyy!! SO PRETTY!!

Today begans with a trip to my daughters school to have "Muffins With Mom" where I finally met another classroom mother that I really like. Finally!! Annabelles mother, Michelle is a local physicians wife that said we should definantly have lunch and hang out! Turns out she is a wine lush like me and I could not have been happier! Listen... when another homeroom mom wants to be your friend its alot like giving your phone number to a hot guy you meet for the first time when you were single. You think they are shiny and pretty and are so glad they like you. Sad? Nope! Im not giving my number out ( for like the past decade ) so Ill take my hopes for hot dates how I can get them. Especially here where we have no friends or family. : /

I then completed my workout and spinach smoothie and dashed off to work only to end up late because of a horrible wreck on hwy 98.. rude... anyway, when I got there I was stuck with cupping the cole slaw. Listen... there isnt a lot I will complain about but cupping something that smells like vinegar and farts is something I loathe. Latex gloves, vocal gags, and 5 trays later I was done and pulling my hair up in a pony tail to start my day.
There wasnt much else to do and so we got stuck folding napkins. I was sitting next to the brand new girl half listening to the chatter when I swear I heard her say, " I really wish my boyfriend and I could move ot Urguay, its a small satanist country that is so nice."  Que the record scratching sound here, I quitetly scooted over and asked her " ok , what did you just say??" I told her what I thought I heard her say and she laughed and corrected me to say it was a nice small SAFE country in Urguay. Ok listen.. I dont care if you are a satanist, pagan, christian, or muslim but you cant break your alternative religion to me over napkin folding before Ive had my iced-tea... I cant take in information like that without caffiene.

As for the functional part of my day,  I was once again assigned the Deck section and LOVED it. I waited on approximately 5 tables today and made a killing for the mere 4 hours I worked. I waited on 3 large tables and 2 small tables and totally rocked it. HOWEVER, let me take this time to enlighten and educate you people out there. DO NOT and I sooo repeat DO NOT come in in a large group and all be on seperate tickets. IT SUCKS.  You know why it takes so long to get your tab and then process all 16 of your debit cards? Because the waitress is fighting for a computer and then separating 15 diet cokes and waters, salads and gumbos, and food.. then printing it, placing it in separate books, then collecting it back from you, running cards, and then passing them back out... oy. Its not fun and it takes too long. The poor old people at your small tables just sit there and stare forlornly into their water and soup waiting for you. Dont do it. Its borderline rude and stupid. Be the guy from yesterdays post with the black metal AMEX card and handle it all on one. I dont care if you dont have any damn money, just go easy on the cute waitress, K?

I skipped out of there at 2:00 pm and headed to Pompano Joes for drinks, Shrimp, Oysters, and laughs with Nyles and Chad. I found myself watching old WWII training planes do a beach front airshow and yet missing home a whole lot. A pink sunset over the water and cocktails soothe the homesick soul but I still cant believe how much I miss my friends and my life somedays. I like Destin.. but I LOVE Arkansas. Just saying. Tonight its Moscato and laughs over Facebook and Twitter. Slow cooked bbq venison and veggies and now my favorite hobby, My Blog.

Clinkie to you guys on your Tuesday. See you all tomorrow.
