Shift = Off day bitches! btw I have lost 11lbs since Christmas just a little fun fact for you there.
Weather = 75, partly sunny and not windy!
Sleeping in till 0930 and then enjoying a cup of coffee while making Saturday plans with my little girl is my favorite way to kick off a weekend. I dont know if I have mentioned this before but I am a work widow. Most peoples husbands golf or fish.. mine works so alot of the time its just Blakely and I. I see Chad off to work at 11 and after a skype session with my sister in law and mother in law we head to the beach. My kid is addicted to Netflix on my kindle fire and I needed to degadget her for a while and get us some fresh air. I decide we are going to go further down from where we normally do so I can stalk a place Im thinking of renting. Yes, its directly on the water. This guy is seriously under pricing this lease and when I check it out on Monday I will be making a firm decision either way as to what to do about leasing it. I couldnt be more excited right now. This is exactly what we had hoped to find when we moved down here. Waterfront, unfurnished, heated pool, gym, and all inclusive.
Anyway, we spread out our towel and I soak up the vitamin D in my cover up and bikini top. Blakely is examining shredded bits of jelly fish on the beach and starts chasing seagulls and pigeons. We walk down to dip our toes in the water and today its pretty darn cold. Which sucks because a couple of days ago the water felt really warm so of course on my off day its going to be freezing. Dammit. I take pictures of the exterior of the building and send them to Chad and all the while keep praying this isnt something too good to be true. I will feel alot better about spending my summer days putting up with sunburned drunkards if I get to begin my day with coffee on my balcony over looking the water and ending them with margaritas at sunset. Spoiled thinking. Yes. So what.
Chad is on his way home for lunch and once again I am yanking ear buds out of my daughters ears so that I can ask her if she wants to go to the pool. No hermit living in paradise kiddo, we wont be here forever. I hope you all are having a relaxing Saturday too. I plan on being lazy and later on hopefully wined up and slightly sunburned. Not a bad way to spend a winters day off.
